My ADHD brain was the most functional it's ever been for the eight years I spent eating MREs and gas station food for way, way too many meals. MREs are only just barely food, but they are definitely processed

This is a perfectly valid point, but I suspect the guy enraged by something as utterly benign as a city councilor hosting a resource fair does not actually care about the scope of city councilors' job duties

I was 18, and it was in the weird liminal week between leaving my summer job and starting undergrad. The rest of my family was at work or school when my friend called to tell me to turn on the tv NOW.
