Retired political consultant and municipal gov't employee, now living on 3 acres with 5 tiny dogs, 3 kitties, and a koi pond. Lifelong Democrat, Union Proud, addicted to politics for many years; also gardening and figuring out my new greenhouse.
Unless he is absolutely, completely, well and truly dead he will remain in office. He can be drooling with dementia, but the people who surround him and benefit financially from him being in office will prop him up as long as they need to.

So, just getting this straight, a video that touts "God Made Trump" isn't partisan or political? That is absurd on its face! The other three were equally partisan and political, and if Biden had created any one of them, there would have been immediate congressional investigations.

Using that logic, should I cancel my home and auto insurance because I haven't had claims in the recent past? Sounds pretty stupid to me!

I think the word they were reaching for was "lied," not disputed. The lying liar lied many times on this subject. He wasn't there; he didn't send his workers there, it's just a lie. Use your words, NYTimes.

Works for me, when do we start?

If this monstrosity is built, I hope that the next Democratic president tears it down as soon after inauguration as possbile.

My mom read to me from birth and taught me to read when I was 3. I had my own library card when I was 5, and my nose was in a book all the time. I wish there had been Dolly back then; I would have loved to have my own books that didn't have to be returned. I'm 74 and still read all the time.

Damn shame the world doesn't want American goods...

That was my first movie, too. I was probably 5; my mom took to the fancy Fox Wilshire Theater in L.A. for a "mommy and me" day. Came to the point when her mom was killed and I ran screaming up the aisle with my mom in pursuit. I have never watched the entire movie, and I'm 74 now. Total trauma.

Who needs to pay any attention to the Hatch Act? I guess these despicable people don't need to pay any attention to laws. and stuff; they're above all that.

Are these the same folks who got bat-s*it crazy when Michelle Obama tried to encourage people to eat healthy meals?
August 20, 2026 at 6:57 PM
Not to mention the working mom who has to take extra time off work. Many companies have very strict attendance standards; some of these moms would be fired if they took that much time off. In these times, being a working mother is not optional.

You know what would help? Negotiators who know what the F#ck they're doing! Stupid SIL, real estate pal, and Rubio are useless - bring in the professionals!

They should start with Pirro.

How do I know he's lying? I'm a koi pond hobbiest; many people I know have ponds lined with polyurea. Applied by people who know what they're doing, polyurea cannot be cut; but it is unforgivable if you don't do it right.

Turned it on, confident that they would air this crap - 10 seconds in I turned it off and walked away. There will be nothing new, just him whining because he lost an election 6 damn years ago.

If only this could have been foreseen...Oh, wait!

Formula One has a number of street races; I used to go to the Long Beach Grand Prix every year. Spectators are seated in grandstands that are not directly adjacent to the track; it's remarkably safe. It's really pretty fun to watch.

Most of my driving is fairly local, but I do take a few road trips a year. The first time I was worried that I wouldn't find chargers but, as is so many things, there's an app for that. It's a steep learning curve for the first year or so, though - EVs are different.
July 13, 2026 at 4:45 PM
As a person who bought an EV last year, I agree. Since I primarily charge at home overnight, my cost to charge from 20% to 80-100% is about $3. The few times I've charged at fast-chargers on the road the cost has been about $13.

As a former political consultant, I could not agree more. Blame Platner for a lack of candor, but also blame his campaign consultants who either ignored his faults or didn't do opposition research before taking him on. Doing "oppo" on prospective clients is imperative & avoids ugly surprises.

I was an adult during Watergate; Nixon was a crook and a wannabe dictator (sound familiar?) The difference is that Congress was less partisan then and recognized that he was a crook and threat to democracy and acted in good conscience. Sadly, conscience is completely lacking now.

I'm pretty sure they're not pretending to be stupid.

Dear Bloomberg: a jet which was gifted to this President, that was refurbished at great expense by the U.S. Treasury, that the President is taking with him when he leaves office, is not technically the new Air Force One. It is Trump's new personal jet, labeled AF1 for a time; we just paid for it.
