Police Scotland has released images of a man who may be able to assist enquiries into an assault that occurred at the Celtic v Hearts fixture at Celtic Park on Saturday, 16 May, 2026. That day Celtic beat Hearts 3-1 to clinch the title and a number of supporters invaded the pitch when the third goal went in. The man is described as early 40s, heavy build with greying hair. He was wearing grey/khaki shorts, a beige jacket, white trainers and sunglasses. Constable Ryan Beveridge, of the Greater Glasgow Football Enquiry Unit, said: “I would urge the man in the image, or anyone who has information relating to them, to contact us. "Information can be given by calling 101, quoting incident number 0880 of 16 May, 2026, or by phoning Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
