I'm seeing random digital images degraded like this. Years ago I started seeing tons of it on my storage devices but haven't for a while. Does anybody know why this happens?

I got this record the year it came out 45 YEARS AGO. My brother & I then spent an hour drinking beers so that we could play "the Call of the Great White North" on musical semi-empties #ohcanada #cooroocoocoocoocoocoocoo
