It is terrible to see what is happening at The Washington Post. Democracy Docket is a small newsroom, but it is growing. If you want to work for an independent, pro-democracy media outlet, I encourage you to apply. ats.rippling.com/democracy-do...

I'm thrilled that a real hero is running for Congress! Harry Dunn, Capitol police officer, defended the elected representatives inside the Capitol on J/6. He stood up for our democracy, laws, and Constitution. I just donated to his campaign!

January 6 was the worst day of my life. But the threat of Donald Trump didn’t end when the mob left the Capitol.

That’s why I’m running for Congress: to defend this country, with the full constitutional authority of Congress.

I’m Harry Dunn. And I’m ready to finish the job.

Tulsi Gabbard’s “national security” act is now just herself. Once a potential Democratic VP, she’s pivoted into Trump’s orbit—proof that her loyalty isn’t to the country, it’s to her own career. Flexibility? More like self-interest in a political costume. www.latimes.com/politics/sto...
Commentary: Tulsi Gabbard is supposed to keep America safe. She's only looking out for herself
Her appearance at an FBI raid on a Georgia election center had nothing to do with her job overseeing American intelligence and everything to do with worming her way into President Trump's good graces.

Two days ago, we discovered Trump has engaged in the most corrupt behavior of any president in history—giving secret technology to China's ally in exchange for the Trump family getting half a billion dollars.

And nobody is still talking about it. #Corruption

Persistent reports of ICE using drones, including this highly suspected ICE drone photographed being launched from a suburban park. It’s a HoverFly Spectre, a “tethered” surveillance drone flown over unspooling fiber-optic cables. I’d be curious if anyone knows a civilian use case

Trump Is Building a Federal Judiciary of Delusional, Cowardly Loyalists
Judges have to decide cases based on facts. For Trump judges, the only facts that matter are the ones that he authorizes them to believe.

This industry is fucked. People tell you to go independent (there ain’t many other options atm) and speaking from experience, the independent route is difficult and labyrinthian to monetize. Detailed work that speaks truth to power often doesn’t get the views/interest of just rambling into a camera.

Ahh! Public relations of shooting people in their back and face. Kidnapping babies and using them as bait to get their parents. That type right?

Managed to get away to spend an hour at the protest in my hometown. When I was there there were maybe 100-150 people, which is not bad for a 20k person town, at 1 pm on a Friday, organized the day before. Saw lots of people I knew from church and the kids’ sports and school and the community.

Actually I do deserve to be happy so I am going to work from home and join my wife at a protest at a local Congregational church where the pastor has been doing great work in the community.

Let's speak plainly.

In a legitimate criminal cases, political appointees don't have to first hollow out U.S. Attorney offices of objecting career prosecutors with integrity; federal judges don't kill the cases at the cradle, and the government doesn't fight tooth and nail to revive them.

Lawyer for Epstein Survivors: It's consistent with what we've been seeing from the Department of Justice for quite some time now. It's an incompetent coverup. They're trying to cover up documents, to withhold documents, to keep things from the public, but worse, they're not good at it.
