Shrug off flattery: Take compliments with a simple, relaxed "thank you" or a quick witty remark, but don't let praise inflate your ego or govern your future actions.

I have turned off dark mode on most of the sites where I read a lot.

Stop seeking approval: Never alter your opinions, taste, or behaviour just to make someone else like you or fit into a group.

Cultivate an Internal Locus of Control

Be immune to flattery and insults because your sense of worth is entirely self-generated.

Do the circumstances dictate your mood and emotions?
Or do you choose your mood and emotions, and the situation is simply something you respond to?

The less your mood depends on your circumstances, the more mentally tough you are.

After an agent makes changes to your code, review it with a fresh subagent.
A subagent has no context from the main conversation, which means no bias — it catches things you'd overlook.

I'm working on a unique reminder app and would love to hear from users.

Do you use a reminder app on your phone? If yes, which one do you use?
What do you like most about it?
Is there any feature you'd wish it had that isn't available right now?

It's amazing to see the rise in electric vehicles across India—definitely a big step toward eco-friendly transportation and reducing emissions.

I saw these green autos in Nagercoil. So cool.

I used to think vulnerability is weakness.

It is not. Wish I had learned that early.

It looks like Threads has a wider reach compared to X and Maston/Blusky

My last post got a lot of engagement, and I feel it’s a perfect time to start actively using Threads to share more content and connect with more people.

Recently, I have adopted TDD for AI-assisted coding.
Whenever I work on a new feature or fix a bug, I write tests before implementing the solution.
This approach helps document all issues and prevents regressions.

What is your approach? Do you prioritise writing tests first?

I was complaining that something wasn't working while vibe coding in front of my Gen Z nephew.

He says: Skill issue

Me: 😑

It's been a while since I used perplexity.

I only use Gemini and Claude for searching these days.

Cancelled my ChatGPT subscription a long time ago.

For coding, I use Claude code + Copilot

I remember seeing a lot of jokes and criticism about the Apple iOS 26 glass design, but I’m loving it. It's pretty cool.

I need to back up several folders from my laptop to a cloud service. I have over 60 GB of data.

Which cloud service do you recommend? I want it to be affordable and reliable.

I’m currently considering Backblaze and S3.

Playing with Claude Cowork, I have many messy folders to organise and clean.
I was going to do it myself, but thanks to Claude.
