I reached out to the author a couple of years ago asking for permission to write Xcrawl adventures in the Dungeon Crawler Carl work. An assistant responded that Matt thought is was a really good idea, but then I never heard anything else back. So... I blame myself for the DCC takeover. ;-(

Now I want to write a Dungeon Crawler Carl bait and switch adventure where once they sit down at the table, you just start playing the true DCC.
