Headline: America Got Your Nose, Trump Says

Subhead: Tissue and decongestant stocks soared on the news

Eighth paragraph: Experts questioned if the United States had achieved full nose possession. “I can see it on the face right now. Trump is sticking his thumb between his fingers,” one explained.

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?

If Stephen Miller is still in the White House, that means the white nationalist gameplan is still all systems GO.

What we're witnessing is just window dressing and distractions.

Tom Homan is just as bad as Bovino, but less openly Nazi.

Keep your eyes wide open.

A coalition that ranges from democratic socialists to neoconservatives, including a lot of energized liberals in between, is large and formidable.

A big pro-democracy tent. A united front. Any internal disagreements can be hashed out once the authoritarian emergency is over.

This really can work.

Do not assume that everything they set out to do is inevitable. They have been successfully fought on multiple fronts, from courtroom wins that have actually stuck to city and state governments that haven't backed down, to activists in the streets organizing against their violence.

The President of the United States is threatening to go to war with an American city.

This is not a joke. This is not normal.

Donald Trump isn't a strongman, he's a scared man. Illinois won’t be intimidated by a wannabe dictator.

We don’t live in a neutral marketplace of ideas. We live in an attention economy shaped by algorithms, tribal identity, outrage incentives, and profit models that reward engagement over accuracy.

US press and public usually judges war not on legality or strategy, but on:

1) Does it look cool on TV?
2) Is POTUS a Democrat?
3) Are we winning? If not, do I have to see the downsides on my screen?

Remember, the only big public complaint about the 20-year war in Afghanistan was Biden ending it.

None of the official ABC tweets or clips from the Trump interview tonight feature the most important clip of all: a demented Trump repeatedly and falsely claiming, and seeming bizarrely to believe, that Albrego Garcia literally had the letters and numbers MS13 on his knuckles.
