seeing some WoW players who truly get upset whenever a quest/dungeon involves killing people who aren't explicitly ontologically evil (or even random quest mob innocents) is so funny

i think half of all quests in this game involve killing people who, realistically, probably don't deserve it

performative hatred of warcraft humans and high elves is really reflective of an obnoxious personality type that i just can't abide

there are so many people whose personality is dependent on the self-perception that what they play instead is "unique" and "interesting"

really if there's a third party bad guy or antagonistic asshole, I'm their strongest soldier

the community reaction to turalyon is so funny. a character has opinions, the narrative has conflict, and everyone is like "He's literally my racist dad. We need to Kill him"

they can never make me hate you, turalyon.. even if you become a raid boss
