Vainglorious, cowardly, unreliable, noncommittal, know-it-all, muttered the people around him.

Share the last picture of the sky from your camera roll.
The very still water surface of an estuary fills the foreground and bottom half of the image. The top half is dominated by a clear, light blue morning sky. There are no clouds at all. A very thin horizon line separates the water and sky. We can see a few suburban houses beyond a white sand beach on the left. A railway bridge crosses the estuary. It is supported by concrete blocks but each of the blocks stands on four pylons. Behind it in the top right corner is Mauao. It’s a volcanic cone with a distinctive broken tip. The right hand edge of the image shows the dark foliage of trees in shadow. The air and water are so still that everything in the image has been reflected.

Anyone else feel that Wineorbit ratings are over cooked? This Australian Shiraz from an excellent vineyard is wine (50pts), good colour (10pts), pepper aroma (10 pts), not vinegar (10pts). Where do the next 13pts come from? #nz #wine 🍷
A close up of a green wine bottle, focused on the label. It’s a Shiraz grown in McLaren Vale, AU, made by Wirra Wirra. A glossy gold sticker has the word WineOrbit printed on it. Immediately beneath are five black stars (the maximum rating) and the rating, 93+ points. Beside the wine is a shallow bowl of pink rose blooms.

There’s not much left. I made two. One was without a crust, and used coconut cream instead of dairy.
A pumpkin pie sitting in a ceramic baking dish. Only one third of the pie remains and a few pastry crumbs. Several slices of a second pie have been placed into the dish.
