Despite the upcoming heart surgery & all the uncertainty around it, & despite the upper respiratory infection I’m fighting (part of said uncertainty), I’m starting work on a new story. Dunno how long it’ll be (longer than a short/maybe a novel/maybe a novella) & about a werewolf. Go team me!

I thought, in my naivety, that the Bill of Rights, where one finds the 5th Amendment, gave one the *right* not to answer a question under oath. Silly me. *goes & reads it again* Doggone. It *does* say that. Do our politicians not read our foundational documents at all? (Rhetorical question.)
