Thank you to the 58 representatives in the House who voted "no" on a resolution to honor the legacy of kirk. His legacy is one of hatred and vitriol towards many communities, the celebration of the beating of Mr. Pelosi, ridiculing of George Floyd, and so much more - that legacy deserves no honor

I just finished "Soul Full of Coal Dust" by investigative journalist, Chris Hamby, who introduced me to true American heros who fought big coal and a "white shoe" law firm to achieve justice for miners with black lung disease. Inspiring and encouraging just when I needed it.

Mike Johnson did nothing as DOGE gutted NOAA and NWS. Twenty-one children and fifty adults were lost in the Texas floods. I expect to see a congressional investigation into the link between the cuts and the loss of these precious lives.
