I’ve been thinking about how we select our leaders. If voting was solidly based in an informed citizenry taking its civic duty seriously (to elect leaders working in the cause of the greater good for all) then I would be more optimistic. But just like the price per gallon of gas, it’s all a scam.

I wonder how this ends. Not for our country, the physical boundaries are set in stone. It’s the character, of our citizens & intellectual landscape. So far, if mediocrity proves lucrative, well then, that’s where the focus must lie. This is where my curiosity leads me. As they say, follow the money.
