Ran out of my Chloe Nomade EDP samples, so I bought it for personal rotation this Fall. It feels current, not 2018.

Some read freesia as top. I can’t find peach at all in it.

Top: mirabelle plum, bergamot, lemon
Heart: freesia, jasmine, peach
Base: oakmoss, amberwood, sandalwood

Whew I had some health issues and had to step away. I‘m back now, I mean it.

I’m wearing a vintage 1980’s Oscar by Oscar de la Renta edt today and time has condensed it into a chocolatey, dusty & mossy “antique mall” base. It projects BIG as a concentrate

I picked up clove, myrrh & wilted (not decaying) carnation.

Cherry has been the it girl for a bit. Why do all cherry accords smell so candy sweet and synthetic to me? Cough syrup. Am I psychology reading it as red dye #40 cherry flavored candy? I like the dry down, but haven’t found a path to it.

Hoping we are heading back into a plum, blackberry era.

I collect perfume for time travel. A wearable fragrance library of open, used, vintage, discontinued bottles from estate sales, vintage stores & online thrifting. Currently in my 80’s era.

I admire investment collections but I’m a goblin that wants a crusty old bottle.

My first bottle of perfume was Safari by Ralph Lauren in 1990, at debut. That beautiful bottle! A heavy molded glass with deep, faceted cuts that resemble cut crystal. It felt so grown up. I can’t believe we tossed those away like ”welp, it’s empty.” I want to time travel and slap my hand.

Took a few days in The Offline for one of those touch grass resets. I only got more housework done, can’t recommend it.
