A very ‘Nolan’ film. I wasn’t particularly moved by it. Kept asking myself what if he’d followed Agamemnon? Odysseus wouldn’t have taken 10 years to cross the Mediterranean. A frustratingly stupid man.

I have this feeling all the time, it’s called getting old. But seriously, in this era when narrowcasting has overtaken broadcasting, it’s not at all surprising.

I thought it would distract me but it didn't. That's not the problem with the movie. Just wasn't that moved by it.

Yes I agree Sadiq has had a lot of racist bullshit and I admire him for standing up to it. Burnham had to navigate the fact that electors in GM had already voted down the congestion charge.

Rather it’s easy to ignore the danger if you agree with an opinion and not be mindful of those who don’t and what they may do about it later.

I know it’s fashionable to dunk on Starmer for this but if he can slow down US disengagement from Europe that is absolutely in our interests as we can’t replace that infrastructure overnight.
