@vcorenmitchell.bsky.social As an ex-pat I just watched tonight's Only Connect from our adopted home in Iowa, USA. Loved the timely sign-off, as less than 48hrs ago the town was celebrating its 77th annual Pancake Day! 🤣 pactiowa.org/pancake-day-...

That bizarre time in 2009 when Universal Studios Hollywood asked if they could feature my character as a roaming "skin performer" in the Shaun of the Dead ScareZone at Halloween Horror Nights! Such a shame I wasn't in a position to go out and see it at the time - one of my great regrets.

30 years ago this summer I was on a UK tour with this show. The team on Plan 9 from Outer Space was a wonderful company and it was great fun to do! Yet another zombie role of course, stepping into the huge shoes (figuratively and literally) of the iconic Tor Johnson. 🧟♂️🛸

Thanks to everyone who came out last night for the first night of the tour. Everyone was so enthusiastic! For me the best part of the night was the Q&A after the film-I would have happily done another hour if the cinema didn't have to shut at 10.30pm! OK, Kansas - we're coming to get you, Wichita!🧟♂️💿

To counteract the endless stream of AI caricatures, I reached out to a few of my 100% human artist friends to do my caricature with the aim of showcasing their different styles/takes on the commission. The first one is in! Thanks @jayfosgitt.bsky.social, I love it! More to come.
