I keep seeing posts about big tech trying to get access to vital water sources to cool data centres. If the very pro data centre current administration are intent on allowing these things to be built, why not allow the use of the giant tap they keep talking about to cool them and leave rivers alone.

Just saw a post on FB from Cam Cavitt (R Michigan) where he's coming down hard on Ontario Premiere Doug Ford over money he shifted that was originally set aside for fighting wildfires to things like a private plane for ford. Michigan Republicans are now siding with the Liberal Party and the NDP.

Am I the only one who thinks Argentina's win is tainted. Yeah, they made a great comeback but that second ball in the net from Egypt did not need VAR intervention. That goal should have stood and the game should have gone into extra time. The level of corruption in the WC this year is disgusting.

Yesterday we watched Cape Verde play an inspirational game. Today we saw Paraguay play one of the most disgusting games I’ve ever witnessed. Paraguay should be banned from the next WC and the referee should be investigated.

Yeah yeah, Messi and Haaland were great today but….having said that, is it just me or are the real stars this year the goalkeepers? I cannot believe the number of truly amazing saves I’ve seen this year. Some great goals too, to be sure, but goaltending this year….stellar to say the least.

The first three games of this World Cup had British announcers and were enjoyable to watch. These American announcers on the US/Paraguay game are nothing short of painful to listen to.

Wait. For. It. NASA animation shows Global temps warm slowly at first, then rapidly. Warming is accelerating! Here’s the truth. It’s real. It’s us. And we have to come to terms with it, and deal with reality, rather than deceiving ourselves, and hoping it goes away. It won’t… without intervention.
