A piece I call “LalwizyanAfrik: Vodou”. This showcases some of the West & Central African vocabulary that exists in the Louisiana Creole language specifically in the context of Louisiana Voodoo. France is often the first place ppl tie to Louisiana Creoles but we are also of the African diaspora!
