I’m pretty sure STRANGERS ON A TRAIN (1951) outdrew everything else at my local Regal tonight.
Not bad for a 75 yr-old film! Imagine how well it would do if Regal advertised its classics.
Best of all, half the audience were in their 20s, likely drawn by Hitchcock's name. Love to see that. #FilmSky

Actually, another fun one at the Old Orchard in Skokie was Wood Allen's segment of "New York Stories," when Mia Farrow asks, "What's a courva anyway?" and the whole audience started cracking up before he answered.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?
Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

- The Cramps. Forgot my I.D. and was turned away at the door. (I was at least 30.)
