I haven't seen an announcement of the Ditmar and Tin Duck awards results from the weekend, but I know one result at least - I won the Tin Duck for Best Written Work (Short), for my short story "Whispers", published in SAMHAIN SCREAMS from Black Beacon Books, edited by Greg Chapman and Cameron Trost.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the release of my first novel, CARNIES. How can that be???

(also, should I write and publish a sequel this year?) 🤪
