This just makes me think he has nothing going on in his life that makes him feel truly validated in his masculinity

imo a lot of this is downstream of white collar crime being ostensibly legalized through the dismantling of the regulatory state so the perception that corporations and their workers aren’t bound by the law leads to deriving catharsis from examples of them not being protected by the law

There's a really awful line of thought that connects the way firms dilute and defray responsibility by promoting hoards of young B-schoolers to VP, and those same VPs being used as literal sacrificial pawns. Agreed: bad sign.

It's boring dudes like this that make the world go round, more valuable to society than any of those billionaires.

Useful to distinguish between Biden's response to BLM then and the Biden/Harris repudiation of the campus Gaza protests four years later, too.

It is simply incredible to me that no one wants to learn from this history. Biden DID NOT do any Sister Souljahing. He largely embraced the protesters, and cast Trump and white supremacy as the real threats to civil order. That worked!
