This seems absurd. Isn't an administration that's just deciding to ignore a law it doesn't like a large problem in and of itself?

Is Alito so frothing mad about non-white people getting into the country he's willing to just say it's okay for presidents to ignore Congressionally-mandated programs?

Clique, maybe? Feels weird to use high school terminology, but it does imply variation in behavior and looks.

Another aspect that might influence ideological sortition is the fact that academia often doesn't pay as well as private industry, and you're often asked to do additional volunteer labor on various committees. That may put off conservatives from academia as a career.

People have less time to cook. They outsource part of cooking to make it faster. The faster stuff doesn't require cooking knowledge. Kids in that household learn less cooking skills. They then chose fast options as adults. They get demanding careers and families and get busy. The cycle repeats.
