Resident Evil was a perfect, fun horror movie that totally understands the appeal of the games (loved all the easter eggs), but also can be appreciated by someone who's never touched the games.
Also, I can't underscore enough how awesome it is that the movie was only AN HOUR AND A HALF LONG.
