Shared space is particularly disliked by VIPs - in Scotland there is a lot in town centres and many just feel banned by danger.

There is no tactile signage, so it is all dependent on the charity of cyclists (eg at a bus stop) or motorists.

I think indicating where we should each be is better.

This view often falls foul of those wanting to push "disabled people vs cyclists" narratives, where "disabled people" are limited to visually impaired and frail pedestrians, excluding mobility aids.

A cycle is one of the most common mobility aids.

And law requires ALL disabled to be considered.

They are NOT "cycle lanes"; they are MOBILITY lanes used by elderly, disabled & mobility aid users. And regarded as such by the UK Government since (?) 2024

They are PART of inclusive infrastructure. Throwing eg wheelchair users into general traffic at every bus stop is not on.

A supplementary (I'll PM you if this does not get through) - how long do we get to respond to this type of notice?

Is this another of these abusively short consultation periods?

The one here has a "reply by in writing" date, but no publication date.

Mark, do you have any knowledge as to why this is claimed to be a "permissive path"?

Surely it is something more like an "Adopted Footway", which is a variety of Right of Way equivalent ?

I have little knowledge as to how these apply on Trunk Roads.

My speculation is that they could try renouncing British Citizenship, but I doubt that would actualy work as we have worldwide jurisdiction on these crimes.

I'm not sure of Goodwin's position on this.

A larger concern is perhaps that an audience was willing to watch & the values in their heads.

Over here in the UK she is seen as what we call an "end of the pier show", like one of your Atlantic City Boardwalk freak shows.

She is "Lettuce Liz" because a newspaper ran a livestream of a lettuce, which had not wilted by the time she resigned.

They will be claiming that they are victims of political 2 tier justice & why does no one look at the Muslim Rape Gangs.

Our far right (further right than Farage who has already had his fingers burned by Tate) are already jumping on it.

I would expect the US Far Right to help them quietly.

Is that not just the standard USA diet?

What does Grumpy-Rumpy-Pumpy-Gumpy-Trumpy eat?

Are his nappies made of Kevlar?

Bobajob Jenrick is a cynical, self-serving cunt.

If you like I can explain, but I'm thinking you should be aware already.

Musk increasingly reminds of the rogue .. er .. tit from "Everything you wanted to know about sx (but were afraid to ask)>"

IIRC they caught it with a huge brassiere.

My keyboard has a stutter.

Meanwhile, this from @bloggerheads.bsky.social is still quite amusing on Bilyl Brit the BNP from 2013 - apart (for me) from one somnwhat imo gratuitous reference at the end.

But it's a great video.

I'm starting to use a vocabulary branding these types, and Farage etc, as traitors to Britsih values, not patriots.
June 7, 2026 at 8:21 PM
Thanks.

That would not surprise. The only reference I have to the phrase is Nick Griffin trying to launch a network initiative in the mid-2010s after the BNP went tits-up !

There is a dead blog somewhere iirc.
