The Wigan 10k was the first big race I did when I started training for my first marathon 4 years ago and I’ve ran it every year since. I did 1 hour 9m, then 1 hour 3m, 1 hour 1 min and now today 59mins 2 seconds. Every year a little improvement that shows that the effort I put in daily does pay off

I did it and I got that PB that I wanted so badly last year so I’m incredibly happy this morning! My third TCS London Marathon was a journey! Again it was an amazing day and the crowds were amazing but it was so hot!

Why I’m running the marathon for @anthonynolan.bsky.social 13 years ago Jon was undergoing his treatment for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and part of that involved a stem cell transplant.

I always wanted to give back and now I can.
