Runners and riders then. Who is likely to have a go? Polanski maybe, though his star is on the wane and he may do better to wait for the general. Galloway? Binface? Has Starmer done a deal to get the dreaded Ashworth back?

Once again, a little research proved me wrong. For the 2024 election Liverpool Riverside swallowed a chunk of Liverpool Walton including both Anfield and Goodison. When Everton moved for the 2025/26 season they only moved within that constituency.

I spent some time over the weekend matching league grounds to parliamentary constituencies. I struggle to keep up with ins and outs and ground moves these days, and not all are where you'd think they'd be. Newcomers Barnet, for example, play in Harrow East reoresented by Bob Blackman (CON).

Although the ground is in Falmer, which is in the Lewes constituency, closer research reveals that the boundary of Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven as represented by Chris Ward (LAB) has a salient in it enclosing the Falmer Stadium and not much else. Club pressure on the Boundaries Commission?

Ok I take that back. Both Everton and Liverpool transferred from Liverpool Walton to Liverpool Riverside under boundary changes for the 2024 election. Everton moved within Liverpool Riverside.

Bristol City is in Bristol South (Labour)

Harrogate dropped out of the league. Brighton used to play in Hove (Labour) but now play in Lewes (LD).

Chelsea and Fulham is one. At the time of the election both Everton and Liverpool were both in Liverpool Walton, but Everton are now in Liverpool Riverside.

Of the other eight, Arsenal; Wimbledon; Cheltenham Town; Bromley; Leicester City?; Brighton; Blackburn Rovers; Aston Villa.

Just my guesses

How? 73% of them say they'll vote for a duplicitous spiv.

I know nothing about whether Care Farms are effective. Growing Well has been going for 22 years now and I note that has expanded in recent years. Mine was the original Kendal site at Low Sizergh Farm.

The place I volunteered at was here

I don't think it's ever called itself a Care Farm, it's a serious market gardening business. They may or may not have taken on offenders, most of those there are referred by mental health services.

On current form, Robert and Lynda are worthy of a spin-off sitcom of their own.

See also: Betty Tucker. You may well be able to think of others. Not to mention the appalling way he treated Ruari's mother Siobhán.

They are all dead: Betty, Caroline, Siobhán and Jennifer. Coincidence?
