My wife and I were horrified watching his ads during the Ohio State/Texas game here in Oregon. He must have paid huge amount for nationwide ad. I fervently hope that Ohio wakes up and starts kicking their Rs out of office.

He's right about doing it more for others. Would love to see Israel pay us back for the cost of the war. They've been pushing for this for more than 10 years.

The ignorance of our public is astounding. Trump and Rs ran against "forever wars" that they themselves started. Somehow they shifted the blame of Iraq and Afghan war onto Democratic presidents. And here we go again. Looking at polling in New Hampshire and I feel like folks don't get it.

Balance in Wyoming? Wyoming coal mining is a huge contributor to carbon emissions. Wyoming ranchers drain aquifers, graze on public land practically for free. Billionaires buy up huge swathes of land. Nature/environment doesn't stand a chance in Wyoming.

My understanding is that it's been impossible to get a "clean" audit because various DOD departments do not provide the data requested. It's a shitshow that gets little/no attention. Instead we throw more money at them and scream about fraud in social safety programs. Tighten oversight everywhere

Now audit the Pentagon. Think how much money would be available for Social Security, medicaid, SNAP if we actually cracked down of waste and fraud in our DOD and USDA budgets.

I recently heard from a professor of public health who did research in VA and W VA coal country that voterd turned to MAGA after their lives didn't improve under Ds. Ds ran W VA until 2016. Fair point! Ds need to focus on improving workers lives not corporations. Back to basics.

Thank goodness they have the Trump administration looking out for them. The whole situation was sketchy but corporations come before people. That county has lots of hard core Maghats who don't care for federal government until they find out they needed one to look out for them.

Corporations have been carrying water for Rs for the last 6 years. So many businesses have been "eating" cost increases created by Trump trade policies. They were not willing to do that during the Biden years and reaped record profits. Deregulation and tax cuts were worth it to them. Corps=DeepState

Stunned that the NYT has not carried this story. I have read about this on social media but apparently under the Trump administration this isn't newsworthy. The Times would have amplified this every day during a Biden admin. To be fair, Biden would have already taken action and still be criticized.

There probably have been some pretty nice vacations provided to Roberts, Kavanaugh and Coney Barrett this summer. With some serious pressure from the providers to help further rig the system last they lose control and face scrutiny.
