I have a list which comes in handy especially over the summer. Today I'm going to endgame which I really don't feel like seeing but because of a list it doesn't cost me anything but bus fare and having to get off the couch. I'm meeting @keithb10.bsky.social there.

Thoughts for the day:
Why does the "bad seed" logo for Batman look like it says "bird seed" to me?
So much work was put into the new Legion of Super-Heroes that I think this has become my current favorite series after only one issue. It's just... *right.*

I urge anyone over 60 who spent Saturday morning battling with the antenna (and siblings on who should hold it) so they could watch bugs bunny to check out #coyotevsacme. It's so good. The tweety scenes were worth the price alone.

Going to Coyote vs Acme this weekend with husband and @keithb10.bsky.social dad loved roadrunner and coyote cartoons. He'd watch with us. He died a while back. He would have loved this premise. My son made an observation that my dad was a civil engineer so all the calamity must have been fun.

I think it should be 21. ( Or the drinking age should be 18). If you are not old enough to legally drink champagne, you are not old enough to get married.

I need subtitles but I know this story so well ( my grandmother loved it and I read it so many times). This trailer is really good. I can't wait to see Hanuman ( not in this one).

Going to see Odyssey again with my daughter in couple weeks. Haven't posted about it because bad faith criticism at other site. But? I didn't really like it. I felt the movie was trying to distance itself from magic and gods. ( The way superhero movies are sometimes embarrassed by the source).

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days.
ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

I wasn't biggest Madonna fan back then. I appreciated she upset the moral "majority". I really appreciate she's back upsetting people because old women shouldn't dress like that and be provocative on stage. Nobody says that about Mick Jagger and others. Here to watch as she redefines senior women

The reason American Ninja Warrior sucks is because it failed to get that Completing An Obstacle Course was the least interesting thing about Sasuke.
It’s about assembling the 50 wackiest people in the country & the 50 strongest people in the country that are also wacky.
And it needs to be OUTSIDE.
