They arrested people and tried to ruin their lives to cover up their own corruption and incompetence. They put up fencing and put National Guard to prevent vandalism that wasn't happening. It's a scandal and that's how it should be reported and dealt with.

One thing that's getting lost in the Trump/IRS slush fund scandal (and it is a scandal) is that the leaked tax returns showed that Trump is a fraud, liar, and tax evader who, like now, used his presidency to enrich himself. But I guess that part of the history is being rewritten, too.
