You'd hope a member who rose to being an MP and Government minister might have picked up on what the founding purpose of the Labour Party is, but alas no ...
"In order to deliver the PM's promise to save social care we need a permanent class of indentured migrant workers without labour rights".

Britain's economy is being held back by low wages, underinvestment, rip-off pricing, the housing crisis, lack of affordable childcare and an NHS on the point of collapse. Not because there isn't a third runway at Heathrow.

Financial Times moans about modest trade union reforms, workers rights.

Most of the EU has worker-elected directors on boards of large companies.

FT silence on low wages, fire and rehire, worker insecurity, undeserved exec pay.

Only unions can negotiate with powerful companies.

"NOT JUST WATER!
We should also bring energy, Royal Mail, buses, our NHS and every public service we rely on to live into public ownership
Andy Burnham, inaction now will only cost us more down the road"

Public ownership is the ONLY way forward for our water companies

"Public control" is not good enough

These assets and their revenue streams must be OWNED BY THE PUBLIC so all profits can be reinvested in fixing infrastructure, stopping leaks and sewage

I’ve signed a letter calling for Andy Burnham to clarify his views on control or ownership of public services. Can you sign and share it as well?

Add your name to our open letter to Andy Burnham
Public control is not public ownership. Andy Burnham must clarify that he backs public ownership of life's essentials.

For years, Stephen Lennon has asked supporters to trust him and fund him. A Channel 4 Dispatches investigation, made with HOPE not hate, has raised serious questions about his finances. secure.hopenothate.org.uk/page/199860/...

Words matter. Regarding JLR's projected redundancies, BBC news reported that the business secretary will meet the 'head of JLR' [i.e. the boss]; and the 'bosses of the unions' [i.e. elected officials].

It's a good job the balaclava-clad fascists who closed down Britain's biggest port aren't peacenik grannies holding placards, because they'd be facing terrorism charges then

The (mainly Tory) media’s failure to held Ben Houchen to account over Middlesbrough after 10 years as Mayor is an absolute scandal. He even gets his own OpEd to blame everyone else.
