My take:
The dream is fine, but it should have been more like a “Special Vulcan Ritual” effect wherein T’Pring’s help brought about a revelation from Spock’s Vulcan Subconscious.
The “Dream” makes sense as it is another of “Spock is returning to more Vulcan than Human” like he was in TOD.
