If someone breaks laws and you choose not to hold them accountable, you have effectively rescinded said laws. That applies to constitutions as well. This is an immutable, non-negotiable fact. Any analysis of what Democrats should do once they regain power that does not acknowledge this is worthless
Former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel calls on Democratic lawmakers to set aside plans to impeach President Trump if they win a majority in the House, pushing them instead to pass an ethics reform package.
Rahm Emanuel says Democrats should focus on ethics reforms rather than impeaching Trump
Democrats have publicly weighed whether they should pursue impeaching Trump for a third time.

This industry's limitless capacity for stomping about on copyright in the name of creating things no one wants or asked for is the only thing that's impressive about it.
Oh HELL no, #Audible.

So you're going to not only steal my characters, infringing my copyright and IP, but you're also going to steal the voices of my brilliant audiobook narrators for your utterly crap AI chatbot?

Get - and I say this with my whole heart - IN THE SEA!

Manchester City cheated Premier League rules, the Commission found. Did it also cheat HMRC?

We've examined the decision and leaked Mancini documents. We think City likely failed to pay £12m in tax.

There should be a criminal investigation.

Yes. I think the consensus among US elite pundits and senior politicians that the way to protect liberal democracy is *not* to punish elite figures who violate its rules is wrong. A norm starting at least with the Watergate pardon. The opposite is true. You need to enforce the law and Constitution.
Once again, one of the primary reasons we have arrived at this point (completely out-of-control & unconstitutional abuse of executive power to conduct wildly illegal foreign policy) is that no one, including the most senior people involved, went to jail for the rest of their lives for Iran-Contra.

MDWCA: Make Doctor Who Cheap Again
Anyone who sees this and cannot join the dots between the end of the BBC and the end of the UK’s world renowned TV industry… frankly, I despair…

We need change, yes. We need to get good at making low budget risky TV again, absolutely. But axe it and say goodbye to anything but mid Atlantic dross.
NEW: Without public funding, 63% of BBC TV and drama would disappear or go behind paywalls.

Our new report with the Social Market Foundation reveals that ending public funding could wipe out 40% of the BBC’s £411m drama budget and reduce the £64m Arts & Music budget to just £3m.
