It finally happened. My mom wandered off in the evening (after dark). She has always stayed in the house if it was dark. Or would return before dark. It’s past 11, she has not returned.

So, long story short, my hometown does a St. Patrick’s Day “parade” at 7 am. I don’t drink much anymore, so met up with a couple high school buddies and was HAMMERED after 5 beers. Was home by 8:30 am to sober up and “babysit” my mom 😄🤦🏻♂️
