There’s a lot of misunderstanding of how the ‘codes’ work in reporting surrounding this - POTUS’ voice and the card he keeps in his pocket is all he needs to authenticate a strike.

Agreed, but we also have to be conscious of what they can (and more importantly, can’t) do.
They could impeach them every day of the week, but getting enough votes in the Senate to convict and remove will be extremely difficult.
No blaming Dems if the impeachment succeeds but conviction fails.
