So the Big 12 is a “glorified G5 conference” that can’t compete against the P2 but when a former Big 12 coach takes a lot of his players to a P2 school suddenly those guys are difference makers?

Texas Tech has landed the services of LB Austin Romaine. Curry, Roberts, and Romaine is a very solid LB core. Nice pick up for the Red Raiders.

On3 is reporting that Sam Leavitt will visit Texas Tech tomorrow. I guess this means the Sorsby visit didn’t go well and Tech is moving on. Hard to believe that Sorsby’s girlfriend would commit to Tech in volleyball if Brenden wasn’t headed there as well. Tech isn’t known for volleyball success.

Does anyone know what the transponder looking things are on the left upper quad of the Texas Tech men’s basketball team’s shorts is? They appear to be sewn into the shorts.
I assume it is for tracking either placement on the court and is synced with the game tape or it tracks distance traveled?

I said that Texas Tech playing meaningful games in November would be a successful season. They exceeded that. You’ve got to be really good and a little lucky to win a playoff. The Red Raider offense was neither today.
