My local library closes this weekend for scheduled renovations for the remainder of 2025. I'm legit sad about it. I ❤️ my half mile walk. Going to a different location by bus just won't be the same.

I remember when right-wing media said that I wasn’t qualified to be a member of Congress because of my credit card debt. My debt was nowhere near $1.2 million.

Spouse and I were #73 & 74 at our polling place this morning. It was -5°F and sunny, so, not an unpleasant quick walk to cast votes. A neighbor offered us a ride home while we were bundling up to walk back. We thanked him, but walked home.
