Here’s a wild Vigo County voting fact:
From 1956 through 2016, Vigo County voted for the winning presidential candidate 16 elections in a row.

That streak ended in 2020.

For decades, that made Vigo County one of the nation’s best-known political bellwethers.

We’re up to 39 poll responses on Midwest Metrics already, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has taken a minute to participate.

We’re still very new, so every response really does matter right now.

Those storms did a number on some roads and bridges around the Wabash Valley.

How would you rate the condition of roads, bridges, and basic infrastructure where you live?
