My new speculative poetry book, Lounging with Strange, is now available for pre-order. It's full of songs, song-like poems, love, horror, humor, puzzlement, and the cosmic bizarre bazaar.

My SFF short fiction collection is ready for first draft review!
Here's a taste from Siblings of the Scourge:
"We started out as nine Siblings, and now there were seven of us, traveling on an engineless starship propelled by the power of spite. That's what I thought the Scourge was."

From "The First 27":
Hey, I’m Tasha. I’m new here. I returned two months and three days ago. I have two twin eight-year-old girls who want to play with mommy all the time now that she’s not dead anymore. Some days I want to find their real mommy so I can stop babysitting these …doppelgangers.

I submitted a science fiction short story to Space and Time magazine over a year ago. It eventually became a finalist. Now the magazine is restructuring and only publishing themed 1000 word flash fiction and themed poetry, so I now must submit my story to another venue. Suggestions? No MRM please.

My horror movie preview idea: "Glamour"
Scene:
It's late afternoon on a city street
"Get out of your car!" yells a masked ICE officer, pulling on the door handle. Two other ICE behind him.
The woman inside smiles and says, "This neighborhood is guarded."
"What?"
Roar, agent screams, blood splatter

I set up a copper electroplating a key experiment as a hands-on STEM activity for students at Baker Middle School students, and I realized that I never got to do fun, practical stuff like this in college. Why did they avoid the useful, interesting experiments?

As SpecPoVerse is starting its second year of publication, I encourage folks to donate to keep it going. The zine is sustained by my side gig, and all the money I make is paid to poets and to keep the website around. Any amount helps. Thank you for your support!
