What growing up in dance, music and theatre taught me about wildlife conservation 🩰 🎼 🎭 👩‍🔬 🐒 🌴

Public speaking:
I spent my childhood on stage at dance competitions, recitals, plays and musicals.
I learned to love the jitters.
Now I use that at conferences and community meetings.

The recent discovery of a new colobus species in the DRC should remind us of the importance of investing in scientific research amid a climate of anti-science rhetoric. This is the English version of the piece I published in Le Devoir last week.

We discover 16,000 new species every year, yet many are already endangered upon discovery. I published an op-ed in @ledevoir.com about the recent description of a new monkey species and why we need to invest more in scientific research here in Canada. Check it out: www.ledevoir.com/opinion/idee...
Voulons-nous que le Canada participe aux découvertes futures?
La recherche scientifique et la découverte d’espèces sont plus importantes que jamais en 2026.

I've been seeing the viral macaque named Punch at the Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan! I want to take the opportunity of his virality to remind eveyone that wild animals are not pets and that Punch will be his happiest among other monkeys!

The Quebec Centre for Biodiversity Science blog Le Beagle published a piece I wrote about my time in Madagascar. My trip was quite the adventure - and I would love to share it with you!

I wrote this tribute the day after Dr. Goodall passed away, but I realized I forgot to share it here.

I presented my research for the first time at the International Primatological Society Congress in Antananarivo Madagascar, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it went. I had a fantastic time at the conference attending talks and learning from inspiring primatologists from across the globe!

I'm going to be presenting my research at the International Primatological Society in Madagascar and am looking for nature-focused recommendations of where to go and what to do afterwards?! #madagascar #travel #primatology

Just reposting this which I think is the most gorgeous thing I have seen in my career - a critically endangered orange-bellied parrot feeding on a carpet of daisies after an ecological burn. This was the first time they’d had the chance to feed naturally in 15y and was wonderful to witness
