If the side plates were the elite doing their pose it would make more sense. It’s a small thing that doesn’t really matter but once it’s pointed out it raises questions. I’m guessing they make that part of the story when the elite get involved with the trios division again

I know they have a reputed being one of the best tag teams but I’ve never seen their work or if I have it wasn’t memorable. They could turn it around but they gotta show up first.

I’m on wait and see mode with them. They didn’t really impress me in their one match and I’ve been waiting and waiting for them to show up. I wouldn’t say they have faded into obscurity because they have never shined to begin with. Not trying to hate but they simply don’t matter at this point

Well good. I’m glad he’s defending the belt and that makes me happy. Since he is defending the belt while on a tag title side quest I withdraw my complaint. As long as he keeps defending it. And I wouldn’t be mad if Myron Reed shocked the world and won the belt tomorrow. It ain’t happening I know

That’s happening? I must have missed that match announcement. But as far as reason for Steve to turn, there is a story there about how all of Darby’s friends have turned on him(except sting) and everyone always tuned on sting(except Darby) so stings kid turning on Darby has something to it I think

I do put the belts above everything else. The belts represent the titles and the titles are the prize for being the best. The whole point of wrestling is to win the belt so I think it should matter above anything else that is happening.

I don’t have a good reason for Steve to turn I would just rather see that then see him and Darby as tag title contenders or champions. Especially while the tnt title just sits on darbys shoulder doing nothing. I do think the belts should be the most important thing for a wrestler.

The story made sense and was right there for Speedball vs Kevin Knight but instead they gave Darby a rematch after Knight had already beat him so now the last 3 tnt champions are fighting to become tag champions while the belt is on the shelf instead of being defended. I hope Steve turns on Darby

You right but I was keeping track of the win loss rankings back then and AEW were still following the rankings even if they weren’t promoting them. The same as they are doing now. Just look at the this hashtag for proof #aewrankings

And maybe one day Hangman will be able to beat Swerve. Swerve is officially undefeated against Adam Page. The lights out cage match was unsanctioned and doesn’t count. Every time they have been in an official match together Hangman losses. Even the triple threat with Joe hangman was the one who lost
