Another alcohol marker colored page from The Avant Garden Volume 1 inkworks by Lauren A. Brown! I absolutely adore these pages. This one is called Witch’s Respite

My first foray into alcohol markers. I absolutely love them, but I have a LOT to learn regarding blending. Altogether not too unhappy with the end result. But I know I can get better ☺️ especially with learning how to blend the highlights for the skin. Which appear a bit blotchy/patchy unfortunately

Had a blast playing DnD with friends of Talltale Tavern podcast this morning. Followed by a great #daggerheart player workshop hosted by Rowan and Jeremy! Winding things down a bit now with a lunch break at cupzilla Korean bbq at the block party outside gen con. What a good day ☺️

The way I feel this 😭

Trans athletes have a right to exist. When I think about my school years, I remember how being on all the sports teams I was on helped me with my social anxiety, my self confidence, and just all around improving my mental health.

I think everyone deserves the chance for that.

Out at the farm helping dad build the house this weekend. What a way to celebrate Father’s Day! Right now we’re water curing the concrete basement floor and clipping the first couple fox block forms for stability before the walls can be poured. Came away with some well earned battle scars 😂

New sticker for my anxiety journal and a little felt enBEE! Also pictured are some @thenaturolls.com business cards I took along. I had a few opportunities to give them out, so it pays to be prepared! It helps that I wore a daggerheart shirt… like a little sign that says talk to me about ttrpgs 😂

Having so much fun today at the trans pride fest. Currently listening to an awesome DJ and looking forward to seeing my first drag show later! Dressed up and ready for a wedding! Wearing formal or semi formal attire is always so stressful… I can never find anything that feels like me. I went somewhat casual here but added in a cute tie of Michael’s for the finishing touch!

The comfiest part of the packing up process for camping… deflating the air mattress 😂 ps don’t mind my dirty sweaty shirt, that’s what camping is about (I should have known better than to pack a white shirt tbh).

Afternoon/evening hike to round out the end of my camping trip! We saw a Red Bellied Woodpecker and a Pileated Woodpecker. Unfortunately, I don’t have a good enough camera for those long distance shots. I got some good looks at them through the binoculars though, so they’ll be in my mind bank ❤️

Taking a break from camping fun times to help dad with building the house. The heated floor tubing is down for the basement and we measured/marked the lines to pour the basement concrete slab. Next step is to get the rebar lifted a tad to strengthen the concrete. Then we’ll be able to pour the slab!
