The fourth book Mum read this month was The Moonlight Gardening Club by Rosie Hannigan.
This was a lovely book about the therapeutic benefits of a community garden, planted with white and silvery plants to be best enjoyed under moonlight.

We loved this book and the way Rose’s retirement, and decision to bring her late husband’s garden back to life, turned a group of strangers into friends.💜

Mum’s chosen book, to fit the #CatChatBookClub MAGIC GARDEN theme, is “The Garden of Memories” by Amanda James. It really is a lovely, uplifting story in which the healing power of nature is central 💚 Mum enjoyed the escapism which this heartwarming tale brought to her 📖 😊

Mum forgot to post here last night! Her first book was a recommendation, The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge & was perfect for this month’s theme.
We loved this book. There was a brave heroine, friendship, mystery, intrigue & adventure. Mum couldn’t put it down.💜

I spent large parts of childhood & young adulthood homeless. My mom was a nurse. A lot of homeless have jobs. It’s only getting worse.
Most homeless books are by sociologists. This is by a journalist. He gets it. Well written & researched, heartfelt. @brian-goldstone.bsky.social

I really enjoyed Playing for Love by Jeevani Charika, a four star romance from my TBR. Two people who know each other slightly from their business incubator bldg unknowingly team up in an online gaming competition. Both of them find bravery when they need to. #CatChatBookClub 📚💙
