@coolhand.bsky.social People wonder why I don't code much while in voice chat. I notice the only ones that do get anything done just tune people out anyways, they aren't even listening.

A big appeal is it's text editor focused design, I can just keep typing up the script and branches without managing visual nodes like in other editors. Instead there is a tree that is generated automatically organized based on what dialogue and choices were typed for the game's script.

I think I rambled a bit too much about the little problems. I'll be trying to make future dev logs more entertaining from here on out.

Both are much better than modern X. BlueSky effectively is a continuation of Twitter from 3 years ago right now. If Mastodon version 5 automates remote login, whatever you want to call it or BlueSky demonstrates better instancing then that would settle it for me.

One last thing I hate about both BlueSky and the main Mastodon server that public instances solve is the character limit of posts. Look at how I had to split this up into 4 posts. Why? Because I only get 500 characters here on Mastodon! That's unacceptable. This crosspost is worse on BlueSky […]

Outside that I struggle to find much to complain about in regards to Mastodon, actually.

If BlueSky can demonstrate public instancing and that they are better than Mastodon in being more connected then that would convince me, but it's yet to be seen.
