I haven't read the books so I don't know what to expect from the second season, but I know there's a bunch of new people so I'm assuming there will be more couples and Shane and Ilya will take a backseat, which I'm fine with. If I see them pop up every now and then, I'm happy with that.

Do they paralyse you too? Or just numb the eye? I guess if they don't paralyse you, it's kinda like being at the dentist where they just numb the area they're working on. Do they ask you questions during it? Is that why you have to be awake for it?
