Today we worked together to complete an End of Year quiz, putting our P3 learning to the test! We were tested on some of our learning about Egypt, the rainforest, telling time and nouns! Great teamwork everyone! @mrshilditch-dps.bsky.social

On Friday 19th June, P6 pupils @missbeattie-dps.bsky.social will be hosting a range of stalls and activities including colouring sheets, temporary tattoos and Beat the Goalie. Prices will range from 10p-£1.50. If your child would like to participate, please bring only loose change. Thank you!

Although it was very wet, we really enjoyed taking part in Scoot and Skate during Daily Mile. It was especially lovely to see everyone looking out for one another on the way round the track! #DPSHealthWeek

We’ve been able to take part in lots of activities so far during #DPSHealthWeek. On Tuesday we had some football practise with coaches from Bo’ness United. It was great to see all of the pupils joining in and working together! #Teamwork #Exercise #Healthy

We successfully made fraction dice and used these to play a game with a partner! We worked on identifying fractions and saying the correct name while trying to get four shapes in a row! Great work everyone 👏 #WorkingTogether #LearningTogether

We have been extending our knowledge of the art elements and focused on line and colour to create pictures inspired by Piet Mondrian’s recognisable style of artwork. There was such great focus and concentration from the pupils. Well done! I can’t wait to display these in the classroom 🖼️

As we bring our Human Body topic to an end, we learned some real life skills including what to do in an emergency and how to put someone in the recovery position. A big thank you to Mrs Sneddon for coming to talk to us about your role as a First Aider at Deanburn and how you help everyone!
