I'm actually not even sure what I think about GamerGate anymore. I have many conflicting thoughts about it. The area I was involved in was largely about ethics in media. Of course we were subverted by right wing figures into the alt-right pipeline as well. And there was mass harassment as well.

It always cracks me up how whenever right wingers appeal to science, it's quackery or pseudoscience. There's also the quiet confession baked in that they are not in favor of science most of the time.
