Hugely valuable contribution examining the approach of ABC's 7.30 Report interviewing of various guests.

Also deeply gratifying to read this analysis after being so appalled at the interview approach & sick of being gaslit that I abandoned watching ABC altogether

I resigned from ExxonMobil today. I spent the last three years doing fossil fuel extraction research at both BP and ExxonMobil. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing to maximize extraction while the window to act closes, and gambling with our lives. More below.

Please take the time to read this important piece by Lana Tatour & Noam Peleg.

It's hard to believe how seemingly captured the Commission became and the horrible folly flowing from this.

Commentary from an American on the repression in AU of people who speak up for Palestinians and he calls it "extraordinary". He remarks on the lack of context for it - that Australians are enraged by the genocide. The RC has utterly failed to elicit this perspective.

Albanese's got a f*ckin' nerve, blaming hard right populists for the Labor hammering.

I fully blame Albanese for failing Australians on the cost of living crises while he brown-paper bags billions to Trump. I fully blame him for the moral crisis he's festered too.

Prime Minister Albanese becomes more diminished, lacking and unhealthy for this country with each week that passes. I have truly come to loathe him and feel he is as damaging to Australia, in his own way, as Scott Morrison was.

Have been watching the antisemitism RC closely & struggling to find actual examples of antisemitism. Zero institutionalised racism, segregation, or systemic exclusion like First Nations people still face. Examples lack evidence & rely on hearsay.
