These people found a baby goat trapped in a pit. They took him home and cared for him overnite. The next day they tried to find the owner but had no luck. While looking - they found a group of goats with the same white fur. Then this happened.

Away for 3 days and upon return picked 3 gallons of tomatoes. Still have many Amish Paste, San Marzano, Kellogg’s Breakfast, Beefsteak, Sun Gold cherries, Chocolate Cherry, and a few other kinds that will hopefully have a chance in the next few weeks’ warm weather. #Gardening #Tomatoes

Tomatoes off the hook. Temps rarely above 90, last week was 60s with rain, this week 80s. Glad we got rain with snow in the mountains, but tomatoes cracked. These are all Kellogg’s Breakfast, the best yellow IMO, & Beefsteak, neither of which I’ve ever had much luck with before #Gardening #Tomatoes

Another benefit of eliminating pesticides & herbicides & planting lots of flowers is the bevy of birds congregating at the birdbath. Goldfinches, hummingbirds, house finches, blue birds, all kinds of sparrows. Lots of delectable bugs & seeds. The ravens love the marbles in the birdbath #gardening

Finally some green beans. The 😖 rock chuck ate all the shoots end of June and for sure I thought there’d be nothing but by end of July they started climbing the trellis. #gardening #highdesertgardening #greenbeans

3 little quarter pints of pickled peppers. Sad amount but peppers didn’t do well here. I bought starts again around 7/4 bc the ones I started from seed, poblanos & cayenne, didn’t do well & the local nursery said many had problems with too cool of evenings #canning #pickledpeppers
