The Milky Way from Applegate Lake in Oregon, last night, August 11. While there for the Perseid Meteor shower. Didn’t catch many on camera but the show was great and Milky Way was on full display.

This may have been the best some of the #stargazing and #astrophotography, conditions in the country.

On my way to Oregon to catch the #perseids meteor shower peak on Aug 12-13. This seems like the best spot for now, but adaptability is key. #astrophotography.
