My dad was among US Army personnel that Gen Patton ordered to tour Ohrdruf just days after it was liberated. As kids, we were told that Patton wanted as many soldiers to be eyewitnesses as possible so they could go home to tell American public, “this is why we’re were fighting”.

U of O was a progressive school when I attended from 1971-75. At least it had that reputation. This dismantling of the humanities is appalling and wrong! Did admin lose its mind/integrity when it left Pac 12 for Big Ten dollars? SAD! Of course, I’m just an old white hippie!

I was at Red Wagon at 5-6 pm before things escalated (and before 7 pm crowd showed up at Red Wagon). Confusion in messaging about Emergency Protest. I was told protesters at Cataldo/Washington ICE detention center were trying to prevent transport of 2 minors. Rumor or truth?
